Automatic Corrugated Pipe Production Line: Advantages and Applications

Following the standard process of raw material → feeding machine → extruder → die head → cooling → cutting → winding machine, the whole line realizes full automatic operation. It greatly reduces labor costs and avoids errors caused by manual work, making production more efficient and stable.

The production line mainly consists of three core parts: extruder, forming machine and winding machine. It supports automatic operation and is compatible with various materials such as PE, PP, PVC and PA. It requires less labor and delivers high-efficiency and worry-free production.

The extruder is the core starting point of production with fully automatic and simplified operation.Raw materials are automatically conveyed into the drying hopper by vacuum feeding and dried by hot air to remove moisture. The dried materials enter the screw and are melted and plasticized under high temperature, then delivered to the forming machine through the die head.Adopting an integrated design of one set of die and mandrel for one size, replacement and cleaning become much easier, saving about 1.5 working hours. The upgraded integral replaceable die head further improves operation efficiency.

After entering the forming machine, pipes are rapidly shaped by water cooling with regular corrugations and anti-deformation performance. It supports customized specifications for pipe sizes from 12mm to 50mm. Single-cavity or double-cavity molds are optional to meet different production demands. Equipped with pneumatic cutting and PLC control system, fixed-length cutting can be set automatically without manual intervention, ensuring high precision and high efficiency.

The double-station winding machine is used for final finished pipe collection. With frequency conversion control, it realizes automatic arranging and winding. The winding speed can adjust automatically according to the production line speed to prevent pipe deformation from over-stretching and ensure high finished product rate. It features simple operation and fast roller changing without production delay.

All electrical components adopt world-famous brands: Delta / ABB inverters, Siemens / Schneider contactors and Omron temperature controllers, ensuring stable operation and low failure rate. The upgraded PLC control system ensures precise operation for professional engineers. With coordinated operation of all components, the maximum production speed reaches 45m/min, fully meeting mass production needs and improving overall output.
